beware, beware, the dragonborn comes for the darkness has passed, and the legend yet grows PERSONALITY ☓ the blood and soul of a dragon, human body, itty bitty living space. she's as proud as a dragon and will fight fiercely if challenged. equally she is greedy in her wins, boons and the continued growth of her power. is probably a couple of chest worth of coins away from making a lair. ☓ nevertheless: she is too curious for her own good, curiosity will be the death of her or the reason she turns into a vampire. ☓ she is engaging and friendly to a point, but also somewhat lonely and wary from a life of traveling about and never being able to stay in one place for very long. also, as is the life of a thief, sometimes friends just don't come back and she was forced to learn how to push those feelings down least they drown her. ☓ the wariness comes naturally as well since a life of breaking and entering left her with little folk to trust that were not originally part of her small guild of fellow orphans. she is slowly getting better, of course that has come mostly in her taking on tasks for good because making friends by killing bears? talk about fun, fun, fun. ☓ her nord blood gives her a natural resistance to frost/winter weather and it's not strange to see her bouncing around in less-than-ideal conditions with clothing barely suited for said weather. being a nord means she is also capable of using a talent known as 'battle cry' aka she screams at her enemies until they runaway. great jumping off point when those shouts came into play. ☓ let her give you her thesis on caves and why they are the worst. ☓ as she has traveled and her power has grown, she has grown somewhat resentful in feeling as though she has become a pawn for the powers at play: the blades, stormcloaks, the empire, deadric princes and everyone in-between. one of the few she truly trust is great-granddad dragon paarthurnax. ☓ in a way, she feels trapped but she'll continue to press forward nevertheless in order to save the world from the world-eater. HISTORY Look here for proto-Runa's list of quests and summaries. The only difference is she is, obviously, not a Breton. She is a Nord, born in Dawnstar and was caught trying to steal from the Empire camp when Ulfric and the other Stormcloaks were captured. Fun times. To go into a bit more detail she was born the only child of miner parents in Skyrim's far north. Her parents died in a mining accident when she was young and she grew up on handouts, working for both food and a place to sleep. A lot of the time that meant sleeping beside the hearth or fire places on scraps of furs. When she was eleven, she left Dawnstar with a caravan and ended up in Riften where she was originally turned over to the orphanage there. It wasn't long before she ended up in the Ratway, learning to be a thief and working out of there with the others that called the dank sewers home. Despite this, she is not part of the Thieves' Guild-- she's just some petty little thief at the time. Unfortunately her last job changed everything when she was caught stealing from the Empire at the same time they were in the midst of capturing the Stormcloaks and their leader. She's not nearly as much of a mage, definitely more actual knives and arrows with a touch of sneak thief, now as she was once going to be but it gives a good jumping off point.
